I'm Normal, I Just Pretend [Ghosts and Gods]

#I want to write about a total lunatic for once

In this bizarre world, the only person who accepts that I’m normal is probably this man who holds me and won’t eat, drink, speak, or pay me any attention.

He is my bride.

“Xin Ji?”

Xin Ji turned around. Seeing the team leader smiling as if he were wearing a mask, he immediately went from expressionless to ingratiating, and asked, “What is it, boss?”

The team leader was very considerate. His smile stiff, he said, “Oh, I noticed you haven’t signed up for the hiking trip the day after tomorrow, so I came to remind you.”

Xin Ji gave a cheerful laugh while cursing him out inside.

Idiot. Who the hell is as gullible as you, believing in this so-called company-paid vacation? This company was founded by old ghosts with their little ghosts.

Your damn boss is a zombie who wants to eat people!

But aloud, he said apologetically, “No, I haven’t forgotten. I’ll sign up right away.”

Humans and ghosts coexist in this world. They have agreed to six principles for peaceful coexistence, and nobody believes that ghosts used to eat people centuries ago!

And me, Xin Ji, an ordinary person who knows the truth about the world, am terrified out of my mind.

I really want to flip the table and scream with rage:

Help! They’re all trying to get me!

Possibly paranoid delusion sufferer seme x thousand-year-old ghost bride (man) uke

To cling to a powerful ally, all I can do is suck up to him... (phony scum)

Strong seme, strong seme, strong seme! A seme with maxed-out attack and defense stats by ordinary standards, and a slight everyone-loves-him vibe
