After Retiring from Infinite Games, I Became the Savior Again

On her way to work one day, Jiang Jixing was sucked into a sudden black hole and sent to a trial grounds.

After five years of overcoming one challenge after another, she finally cleared the trial grounds and returned to her original world.

The moment she got back, the authorities came knocking.

Officials: To be frank, while you were gone, the country fell into a major crisis. We need your help now, at this critical moment.

Jiang Jixing: Sure, but first I need to go home and see my boyfriend.

During the five years she was away, her boyfriend had moved from a luxury apartment to a place beside a landfill. Now he was a filthy, pitiful little thing, going hungry every day and surviving by scavenging.

Jiang Jixing’s heart ached for him.

Chong Wang suddenly appeared in the world.

He had no past and no explanation for his existence.

It was only after he happened to meet Jiang Jixing that he found a purpose in life.

He thought he would spend the rest of his life this way. Then one day, Jiang Jixing suddenly vanished. He searched everywhere, but couldn’t find her.

Chong Wang went mad.

He spent five years plotting carefully and laying his plans in secret, intending to take on all of humanity.

When the time came, just as he was about to destroy the world and go down with it...

His boyfriend came back.

And now he was the government’s poster boy for cracking down on crime, targeting the evil forces led by Chong Wang.

Chong Wang: ...

Don’t panic. Stay calm.

First, just... make up a story about his boyfriend disappearing and leaving him with no one to rely on. (weakling.jpg)
