Cen Lu loves listening to audio dramas, and he's become obsessed with a voice actor called Yilu Xiangxi.

Whenever he can't sleep, he has to listen to that lovely voice to drift off.

Then Cen Lu gets dumped, loses his job, and suddenly discovers that the apartment he paid a year's rent for is a scam.

There is no place for him in this city anymore, and he has nowhere to rest his dying heart.

By chance, he decides to visit Dali to clear his head. He never expects to meet a handsome young man with a beautiful voice on the train.

They travel all the way to Yunnan together, then discover after getting off the train that they're headed to the same place.

Cen Lu can't get ahold of his landlord, so he has no choice but to follow the young man to the old town.

Cen Lu: "I'm here. Thanks for today."

Du Kang: "You live here?"

Cen Lu nods honestly.

Du Kang: "Come on in."

Cen Lu: "?"

Du Kang: "This guesthouse belongs to my family."

Cen Lu: "!"

One day, Cen Lu wanders into Du Kang's room without thinking and discovers all kinds of recording equipment inside.

Cen Lu is amazed.

"I didn't know you did voice acting too. You're amazing! You know, before I met you, I was really into a voice actor called Yilu Xiangxi."

Du Kang smiles. "So whose voice do you like better, mine or his?"

"They're different. His voice is really captivating, while yours is warm."

Du Kang: "Is that so?"

"Hello, everyone. This is Yilu Xiangxi."

Cen Lu: "Ah! You listen to his audio dramas too?"

Du Kang: "You silly thing."

Only then does Cen Lu realize that his landlord is actually the idol he's been infatuated with for ages!
