You Chase the Light, I Chase You [Football]

What was your dream once?

Jing Zhan couldn't help smiling. "My dream used to be becoming an esports player and revitalizing the esports industry. Later, I wanted to become a football player and revitalize football."

Xu Wensheng: "A track and field athlete."

And now?

Jing Zhan: "My dream has already come true."

Xu Wensheng gritted his teeth. "To beat that lunatic Jing Zhan."

Jing Zhan: "You already have."

Xu Wensheng: "When?"

Jing Zhan: "Last night."

Notes:

There are bound to be plenty of inaccuracies about professional football. I've tried to do my research, so please bear with me.

No bashing any teams.

No bashing any players.

No bashing the Chinese national team.

The two are seven years apart, and romance only begins after the younger one is an adult.

There is one switch-up~

Coming soon: "Reborn as My Son's Classmate, I Got a HE with His Friend"

Chen Yao was a world-renowned botanist who had achieved both fame and fortune by his thirties.

Such a brilliant man died unexpectedly during a project in Africa on a government assignment.

One day, he was reborn as Lu Yao, a high school classmate of his son, Chen Ziqi.

Only then did he realize just how much he owed his son.

So he resolved to stay by his son's side and build a bright future with him.

But a roadblock appeared in the way of this noble goal: his son's good friend, Qi Yuan.

It turned out that Lu Yao's original self was gay, and had once sent Qi Yuan a love letter.

On the first day of school.

Qi Yuan: "Hey, classmate, have we met before?"

"So you're Lu Yao. You have nice handwriting."

Lu Yao: "It was all a misunderstanding. I was young and foolish back then."

Qi Yuan shrugged, showing that he didn't mind.

But later, when Qi Yuan saw Lu Yao bring Chen Ziqi water and save him a seat, he couldn't help being annoyed.

"Hey, have you got a thing for my Ziqi?"

Lu Yao was shocked. "Don't be ridiculous!"

Qi Yuan: "Then why are you so nice to him?"

Lu Yao: "What's it to you?"

As soon as he said that, Qi Yuan pinned him against the wall and kissed him hard.

"Want me to make it my business?"
