Wang Xifeng Is Reborn and Takes a Live-in Son-in-Law [Dream of the Red Chamber]

[Daily updates | Heart]

Fengjie died, and even before her death, the man she loved refused to leave the pleasure quarters to see her one last time.

Reborn in a new life, she found herself back at the age of fourteen.

She remembered that day: she had gone up the mountain to pray at a temple, asking the Bodhisattva for one partner to share her whole life with. The following year, she married Jia Lian.

Remembering the years of her previous life, Fengjie found the whole thing laughable. She abandoned the shrine and went wandering in the mountains.

Unexpectedly, the weather suddenly changed. A bolt of lightning led her to a handsome man with a face as lovely as jade.

He said his name was Ma Wencai.

So Fengjie took him home.

From then on, the two joined forces, fought fire with fire, and took the world of Dream of the Red Chamber by storm!

[Marriage by contract, married first and fell in love later]

This is a story about Fengjie, reborn and regretting her past, and Ma Wencai, who transmigrated from the world of Butterfly Lovers, setting off together on the road to success.

Notes:

1. The characters may be very out of character. Don’t use the TV adaptations as a reference for the Butterfly Lovers parts. I can’t use them as a reference either, even though he really is handsome.

2. Feel free to offer suggestions kindly. We read novels to have fun, so if you’re not enjoying yourself, move on to another book.

3. Don’t nitpick historical details.

4. Love you all!

5. I’ll still bash characters I dislike, but I won’t go too far.

6. In the author’s notes for each chapter, I’ll share my own thoughts on details readers might question. I may not be right, but we can discuss them. I hope I can keep it up.

Please check out the books in my collection!

I’d like to write more Dream of the Red Chamber fanfiction, but I don’t have any good ideas yet. Take a look at my original romance and danmei fanfiction instead.

I usually choose the ones with more favorites to write first.
