After I Successfully Won Over Xi Lai Xi

A light, amateurish novella of 200,000 to 300,000 characters~ Check the warnings below the blurb. This story will be available to paying readers on August 31. Thank you for supporting the official release! *The main story is complete. The bonus chapters will be published separately in another book (important!). Blurb: Xilai Xi has always remembered the first plant he ever grew. He chose a pot, watered and fertilized it, and did everything himself. He even talked to it almost every day. But most first-time attempts at growing plants end in failure. He watched helplessly as the leaves turned yellow little by little, until the plant finally withered and died. His parents comforted him, saying, “A plant that's been lovingly cared for might turn into a plant spirit after it dies and come to find you.” So, as he buried the dead plant with his own hands, a boy with pale green hair crouched beside him, tilted his head, and asked, “Hello. What are you doing?” Five-year-old Xilai Xi: A plant, plant spirit really did come to find me QAQ Tsukishima Hiromi's parents went abroad on a business trip and left their son in the care of a friend. The friend was named Shiraito, and there was a boy at home the same age as Tsukishima. When Tsukishima Hiromi arrived, he saw a boy crying as he dug at something in the ground. Curious, he asked what he was doing, only to have the boy suddenly grab his sleeve. The boy looked at him with red-rimmed eyes, like a puppy that had been wronged. “A plant spirit?” Wait, what on earth is a plant spirit? His hair may be pale green, but he has nothing to do with plants! Notes: 1. A light, sweet slice-of-life story with no scheming or battles of wits. 2. I'll do my best to keep the characters true to the original, but I'm not the original author, and everyone has their own interpretation. OOC is inevitable, so please bear with me. 3. Since Shitenhoji's comedic style is exaggerated and absurd, I can only promise to stay as close to the original comedy as possible. 4. If you're not enjoying it, please stop reading before it gets worse. The notes above were added on August 6, 2023. If I hit any more sensitive spots or think of anything else readers should know, I'll add it here. Blurb edited on October 27, 2022. Theme: Strive for self-improvement and keep pushing forward.
