The Demon King of the Abyss and His Noble Daughter

After the Demon King Elpatia, who had once slaughtered the gods, was defeated, the Abyssal race was left without a leader and vanished in the tide of history.

The world sang of the friendship between the elves and the other races, lost in the joy of victory after the great war.

Elpatia had no intention of rising again. But out of a sense of duty, he did one last thing for the Abyssal race. Using what remained of his damaged Abyssal bloodline, he nurtured it day and night, hoping to bring forth a weapon capable of destroying the world, one he could entrust to his loyal subordinates.

At last, on the day a red flower blossomed...

A little child was sitting in the heart of the enormous flower, plucking its blood-red petals for fun. Each time he pulled one off, the flower shuddered.

As soon as the blood-red flower bloomed, its branches trembled and rustled, hastily tipping the Demon King's child down at his feet.

El looked deeply into the eyes of the little one sprawled on the ground. "..."

El: "?"

#

El was a mixed-blood Abyssal who had given birth to a pure-blooded Abyssal. Yet the only pure-blooded Abyssal in the world spent every day tugging at his long black hair, just like an ordinary human child.

He wasn't bloodthirsty at all, had no ambition, and showed no fighting spirit. He was as soft as a young beast, not a pure-blooded Abyssal. He only knew how to throw his weight around, and whenever anything happened, he would cling to El's leg and sob.

El suddenly felt that perhaps he could do without this duty.
