I Lost My Memory After I Hurt Him

Notice: Due to health issues, I will return next spring.

Blurb 1:

When Helan Xi rolled off a bridge, she accidentally hit her head. She woke up with amnesia.

Everyone said she had finally gotten what she deserved after all her misdeeds.

Helan Xi: I may not remember anything, but surely I must be a kindhearted person, pure as a lotus.

As it turns out, she has a terrible reputation. Relying on her aunt, the empress, and her older brother, the crown prince, to indulge her, she has not only trampled on the dignity of a hostage prince from another kingdom, but also carried on a secret flirtation with her future brother-in-law. She even tried to seduce her noble and refined stepbrother, driving her fiance to demand that their engagement be canceled on the spot and swear never to associate with her again.

Helan Xi: Oh. Forget I said that.

Later, one after another, these people corner her on the garden wall. She assumes they're looking for revenge, but one holds out a paper bag of crispy fried chicken, another has tucked the little embroidered handkerchief she made into his robe, and even her fiance flings their engagement papers at her, insisting that he has to take responsibility for her.

Helan Xi: ...???

Blurb 2:

I think I must once have loved someone deeply, but I've forgotten him.

Theme: If your conscience is clear, you have nothing to fear.
