Honestly, I Just Want My Deskmate's Snacks

[Single-minded, rich, clueless, goofy gong vs. gentle, sensitive, grateful, sly shou]

A refined, handsome boy named Su Xing transferred to Qingcheng No. 3 High School. While the whole school discussed his looks, Yu Qiubei was the only one paying attention to his grades.

Yu Qiubei: At last, I'm not in last place anymore!

Su Xing studied harder than anyone else in the class, but he always came in last.

Yu Qiubei thought there was something wrong with him. Why torture himself when he didn't have to?

He looked down on people like that.

Until one day, Su Xing became so anxious over a bad exam that he fainted. Seeing his furrowed brow and pale face, Yu Qiubei's heart, hardened for sixteen years, finally softened.

One day, Su Xing held up a math problem and quietly asked Yu Qiubei, "Deskmate, do you know how to do this one?"

Yu Qiubei thought, I absolutely have to learn how to do it.

To teach Su Xing, Yu Qiubei worked through practice problems like crazy, and accidentally got the highest score in the grade?

Su Xing was still frowning over his test paper.

Yu Qiubei snatched the paper away. "Stop studying!"

Su Xing looked completely bewildered.

Yu Qiubei: "I'll study. You practice your piano. My family owns a mine, so I'll support you in the future."

A classmate reminded Yu Qiubei, "Bro, didn't you say you looked down on Su Xing? Why are you being so nice to him?"

Yu Qiubei: "Can't you see he brings me food whenever I explain a problem to him?"

"..." Your family has a massive gold mine under a massive orchard. Are you really short on snacks?

Years later, the renowned pianist Su Xing gave an interview.

The host asked, "Mr. Su, what do you think about when you write all these wonderful pieces?"

"I think about my husband." Su Xing smiled tenderly. "He's my light."

Su Xing was sensitive and timid. The bravest thing he ever did was fall in love at first sight with Yu Qiubei, who scored more points on the basketball court than he did on exams.
