I Recreated Earth with Card Draws [Worldbuilding]

Qi Lie transmigrated to an interstellar world, where he was about to face the once-in-a-century Planetary Competition.

But looking at the planet beneath his feet, he was at a loss for words. No vegetation, no animals, no rivers, no ozone layer. With nothing but endless yellow sand swirling across the landscape, this was a dead planet.

Other planets were vast and rich in resources. If his dead planet entered the competition, it would surely come in last.

Fortunately, there was still hope. He had unexpectedly bound himself to a card-draw System, and perhaps those unusual cards could turn things around.

[Ding! Congratulations, player, you drew an N-rank card: A filthy ditch. Description: It is severely polluted and reeks unbearably. After treatment, you might even see fish and shrimp in it.]

[Ding! Congratulations, player, you drew an R-rank card: A patch of saxaul trees. Description: Though the area is small, with careful cultivation it might eventually cover the desert.]

[Ding! Congratulations, player, you drew an SR-rank card: A herd of alpacas that are extremely easy to raise. Description: They grow wool quickly, have tender meat, and their spit is their strongest weapon. Be careful not to get hit!]

[Ding! Congratulations, player, you drew an SSR-rank card: A battered air purifier. Description: Though it has grown rather old, it can still be used after repairs. It can purify the air within an area of up to one hectare.]

Every card he drew had its use. Qi Lie racked his brains, and under his care, the barren dead planet gradually became more and more vibrant. Yet the planet's most pressing problem, its lack of water, remained unsolved.

Just as Qi Lie was worrying over it...

Staring at the enormous Azure Dragon circling in the sky, Qi Lie was utterly dumbfounded. He could actually get something like this from a card draw?

The Azure Dragon spoke in a deep, melodious voice: "Human, what do you need me to do?"

Qi Lie replied respectfully and ingratiatingly, "I've heard that the divine dragons in mythology excel at controlling water. Now is exactly when we need you most!"

And so, in the midst of Qi Lie's endless, extravagant flattery, the ancient, mysterious, noble divine dragon gradually lost himself and became a fully automatic sprinkler.

At the Planetary Competition, Qi Lie rode in on the divine dragon and easily took first place.

At the award ceremony, he promoted his planet with polished elegance:

Qi Lie's advertisement was remarkably effective. In no time, Earth became the most popular planet in the entire interstellar world, and countless interstellar species wanted to immigrate and become Earth residents.

The legendary Planet Lord Qi Lie even became the most desirable partner in the interstellar rankings. Unfortunately, a powerful Azure Dragon was always at his side, leaving everyone else no chance to get close.

Everyone thought that the popular Planet Lord Qi Lie must be living a life of glory. Who could have guessed that right now he was tearfully begging for mercy?

"Lord Azure Dragon, let's call it quits on the sprinkler experience for today, okay? QAQ"
