[Temporary blurb, may be revised]
Niwa Yui transmigrates to the Detective Conan world and receives a mission: survive.
He doesn't need to worry about stealing the spotlight, writing scripts, or creating secret identities, because several transmigrators have already completed missions before him and written plenty of scripts. He can just use theirs.
But first, he has to survive. The previous transmigrators have all died and gone home.
Niwa Yui: Why should I cooperate?
System: I'll give you three thousand yuan for every day you stay alive.
Niwa Yui: I'm in!
Niwa Yui looks at the scripts left behind by his transmigrator predecessors and starts to feel suffocated.
Script No. 1:
He's an experimental subject of the organization, suffering from depression, schizophrenia, claustrophobia, and severe PTSD.
Every night, he curls up to sleep. Thunder sends him into a panic attack, and the sight of blood makes him cry.
Transmigrator No. 1 died in a strange shooting.
Script No. 2:
It keeps the basic setup of Script No. 1 and adds the Red and Black faction setting.
Controlled by drugs and unable to resist the liquor factory, he's forced to infiltrate the Red side. He longs for the light, but can never truly stand in the sun.
Transmigrator No. 2 died in a strange poisoning.
Script No. 3:
It keeps the basic setup of Script No. 2, with further additions and revisions.
He creates a secret identity for himself, determined to become the liquor factory's darkest drink and do the craziest things.
Transmigrator No. 3 had the most ordinary cause of death. On his first assassination mission, he was unfortunately killed by his target.
Niwa Yui: ...
I think there's a reason my predecessors died. With all these scripts piled on top of each other, is there any way to survive?
After sleeping curled up for two days, Niwa Yui's back aches and his whole body hurts. He still has to deal with all the enemies and grudges his predecessors left behind. His breakfast is poisoned, and a sniper is waiting outside his window at night.
Niwa Yui can't take it anymore. While fighting back, he stays up all night rewriting his own script:
No tragic past, no miserable experiences. I just want to be an utterly ordinary person.
Don't ask. I have amnesia. Ask again and I'll just give up.
What's a liquor factory? What's the Red and Black? I don't know.
Since I've lost my memory, my mental illness has automatically recovered.
When will this world finally end? For three thousand yuan, I'll put up with one more day.
Amuro Toru: Last time I saw you, you told me you were the darkest drink in the liquor factory and wanted to be the most popular madman.
Niwa Yui: What's a drink? Sir, don't keep me from work. I'm docked pay if I'm late.
Jinpei Matsuda: Your schizophrenia is cured?
Niwa Yui: Maybe it's gotten worse. The me now isn't the me I used to be. I'm a new me.
Jinpei Matsuda: Yeah, it's definitely gotten worse. (Certain.)
Niwa Yui, a legendary figure.
He escapes death every day amid blades and bullets, defies all kinds of supposedly fatal scripts, yet insists he's just an utterly ordinary person.
Everyone: Yeah, right.
Niwa Yui: Another utterly ordinary day of escaping death. (Puts away his knife.)
Notes:
1. Niwa Yui is Red-aligned, but gets put through the wringer and is killed by the scripts left behind by the previous transmigrators every day.
2. He calls himself an ordinary person, but escapes from the clutches of death every day. He'll kill anyone who gets in his way for the three thousand yuan in daily pay from the System.
3. There will be a forum and a happy ending.
Theme: Stay positive and cherish life.
