As an apocalypse investigator, Su Ping travels through worlds on the brink of destruction.

He is the last witness to their civilizations, recording the customs and ways of life in each world and listening to the elegies of species at the end of their days.

That was all he was supposed to do, if only he hadn't been unable to resist getting involved in the course of those civilizations.

He has seen the sky-swallowing clouds of machinery heralding a technological apocalypse, the madness of evil gods spreading through the corners of the world, planets hurtling toward annihilation, and towering civilizations destroyed by bizarre contamination.

He has seen humanity at its darkest during the apocalypse, and the shining virtues that grow brighter when all hope seems lost: ideals, indomitable spirit, perseverance, sacrifice...

A human on the verge of starving to death gently offered Su Ping their last piece of candy.

For that piece of candy, Su Ping wanted to save one person.

So he cleared a field, built a small hospital, founded a company, and acquired a base.

Before he knew it, he had become a beacon of hope in the apocalypse.

One day, a mysterious company suddenly appeared in countless worlds on the brink of destruction.

Its employees brought technology and magic from other worlds, joining the effort to save them.

Notes:

1. The protagonist is doted on by everyone.

2. Lots of friendship-focused scenes.

3. This isn't a traditional quick transmigration story. The worlds are connected, and the foundations laid in one world can be carried over to another. The company's reach continues to expand, eventually forming a vast network.

4. The company offers a wide range of services: saving worlds, investigating civilizations, containing rare species... They'll take on any job, even packing up a batch of evil god contaminants and stuffing them in the warehouse.
