After Binding to a Hidden Achievement Game System

[Please add my upcoming derivative no-pairing story, The Mechanic Is Still Fixing the Whole World Today, to your collections! QAQ The blurb is below this story's blurb.]

Wenyue Cang was a devoted gamer. His only hobby was traveling through various dungeons with his bound System and collecting all kinds of hidden achievements.

There were plenty of hidden achievements, but clues were scarce, so he had to try all sorts of things.

For instance, key characters in every world were always tied to one or more hidden achievements.

In this dungeon, as a classmate and friend who'd gotten to know everyone pretty well, he tearfully ate the lunchbox the pink-haired girl offered with a cheerful smile, then praised it as delicious under the sympathetic gazes of the Rainbow Team members.

[Achievement unlocked: “Stomach”-ing it for a beautiful friendship.]

In this dungeon, he was a rookie sorcerer who'd transferred in halfway through. To grind a certain obvious achievement, he worked himself to the bone, and eventually even started taking jobs away from a certain white-haired man with sunglasses and a certain black-haired man with a bun...

[Achievement unlocked: Flag-Cleaning Machine.]

Wenyue Cang: ? How did I unlock this?

In this dungeon, he successfully returned to his middle-school self, only to be caught by the disciplinary committee at the school gate from the start because his hairstyle didn't meet the rules. He was dragged over to stand punishment duty with a brown-haired boy he'd only just met.

[Achievement unlocked: Friends Walk Together for Life.]

“What does it matter if it's real or fake? As long as I can enjoy the fun of the game.”

Upcoming story blurb:

In this world, there are people born with the ability to repair and create. To keep their abilities hidden and live in peace, they usually don a disguise in the form of another profession when using them.

Makino Ruka is one of the best of them. He is the kind who goes six months without a job, then makes enough in one go to last the next six. To save himself trouble, he opened his little shop in all sorts of different worlds.

And his disguise is... a mechanic.

* In the world of sorcerers: Which Villain Is Trying to Do Business with Me Today?

After accidentally creating a robot with cursed energy, Makino Ruka was approached by more and more people, all asking him some version of the same thing: Could he make something that could take down their strongest? They'd pay anything.

Makino Ruka: What kind of grudge do you have against him? Then he rapidly took orders, turned around and sold the list to a certain white-haired strongest, and even sent over the latest surveillance robot he'd developed.

Sorry, your arch-enemy got here before you did, and he offered more money, too.

* In the Monkey King's world: The Poor Shopkeeper Forced to Play Supporting Character in an Otome-Game Love Triangle from Hell

“Boss Makino, could you make a copy of me, so when the time comes, it can take my place when I'm exiled or burned to death by magic...” an excited young noblewoman asked him to help put her plan together.

Makino Ruka replied sternly, “No. That kind of thing is never going to happen. I want every transaction I make to serve exactly the right purpose.”

He paused. “But I can custom-make you a superb hoe.”

* In the world of the children who escaped to the human world: The Boss of This World and His Employees

Once, while out for a stroll, Makino Ruka happened to find a blond girl who had lost her memories.

“Your memories are gone because you made a deal with someone else. I can't help you. How about you work here for a while, until your family comes looking for you?” Makino Ruka suggested.

It turned out that whenever he picked up one employee, he got a whole string of them for free. And they were all clever and quick-witted.

Theme: Keep striving until you reach your goal.
