When a Goofball Lands in a Dating Sim

Xueye Xiaoji, a skilled action-game player, transmigrates into the world of a game after an accident. He quickly gets himself together and prepares to show off his skills, only to discover...

There seems to be something wrong with this game world.

[Warning: Your Charm is too low. The chance of randomly losing Favorability when speaking to NPCs has increased.]

Does Favorability affect my KDA or not?

Xueye Xiaoji stares at the message, [Washing your face has a 30% chance of increasing Charm by 1 point], and ponders for a long time. If he scrubs his face raw all morning, how many Charm points can he earn? With a 30% chance, does each attempt count independently? Is there a pity system? Well, he might as well wash his face thirty times every morning.

[Warning: Your academic ranking is too low. There is a high chance the disciplinary committee will kick you out.]

What the heck? Do you actually have to study in this game? Shouldn't you be able to skip class and have the knowledge automatically drill its way into your brain?

Whatever. Xueye Xiaoji applies the same dedication to studying that he does to gaming, bringing his own food and working through the night. What? You can't spend the night in the classroom? Then he'll pitch a tent in the hallway. He's a man with a fully upgraded inventory. Either his bag gets emptied, or everyone ranked above him does.

[Ding! Quest issued: Hold hands with Target A for at least ten seconds.]

Isn't this quest a freebie? Xueye Xiaoji flashes Target A a bright smile. "Hey, buddy, I've been working out lately. Want to arm-wrestle me for practice?"

[Quest... complete.]

Did the mainframe forget to add some specific adjectives to the quest, like "sweet" or "intimate"?

With all his skills and Favorability MAXED, Xueye Xiaoji asks: Is there a problem? No, there isn't.

Theme: Face challenges with a positive attitude, find different ways to overcome obstacles, and ultimately reach the shore of success.
