The Strongest Sentinel's Courtship Handbook [Sentinel and Guide]

[This was originally an infinite-flow story, but I temporarily ran out of ideas, so I've changed it to this. I'm posting this notice to make it official.] Ling Hao was called the strongest war machine in a hundred years back at the Sentinel Academy. Arrogant and unruly, he was someone nobody dared to provoke. But when he finally joined the front lines as a rookie, he discovered that he'd actually fought a guide to a draw. He turned and walked away after making some bold threats, only to learn that his opponent was Xie Yan, the S-rank guide and senior from the academy he had long admired. Too proud to back down, Ling Hao embarked on a partnership with Xie Yan that involved a small argument every three days and a huge one every week. What he didn't know was that Xie Yan received orders from headquarters that very night: "He is a blade bestowed upon us by the heavens. Become his sheath." The commander's orders were written in black and white, each word weighing heavily. Xie Yan gave a cold laugh, folded the order, and tossed it into a drawer. Ridiculous. For that little brat? * Until one day. They were both covered in blood, hiding in a cave while a giant beast roared outside. Ling Hao grabbed him by the collar. "There's no other way. We have to bond. That will strengthen our mental power so we can defeat the enemy outside and survive." "You're right. There's no other way." Their foreheads touched, and he saw the surging feelings in the other's eyes. There was no way left to deny his feelings for you. Their feelings and their fate had reached a dead end. The only path left was to set aside their pride and clasp hands. From then on, they would share life and death, advance and retreat together. Through heaven and hell, there would be only one person for each of them. The heat of their bonding felt like a dream, unreal and hazy. In the haze, he heard the other's voice: "I love you." Those words had appeared again and again in his dreams, but this time, they weren't an illusion. * A lazy, domineering tiger (Ling Hao) x a snow wolf hiding murderous intent (Xie Yan) Two strong leads. My take on the sentinel-guide setting, with lots of original worldbuilding. Everything serves the plot. No secondary couple. The protagonists are the strongest, and the whole universe revolves around them (hey!). Everything is about the protagonists. Theme: Pursuing ideals and reaching the peak alongside kindred companions.
