Hyenas and Wild Roses

Synopsis dated 2022.9.26. Saving this spot for now.

[Rapper x female stand-up comedian, bad boy x wild horse]

Xu Wen spotted a “weirdo” sitting in the corner while doing an open-mic set.

In the dimly lit venue, he was the only one wearing sunglasses, with a baseball cap hiding most of his face.

Xu Wen had always been rebellious, so she called him out to interact with her.

As the audience turned to look, someone immediately recognized him.

At that moment, Xu Wen had only one thought: “Oh no, I've really messed up.”

When they met, he was still singing in a bar, while Xu Wen was opening for other performers at a comedy club.

Back then, they squeezed into a rented room of less than ten square meters, split ten-yuan boxed meals, showered in each other's arms, and kissed under the showerhead.

But they were happy.

Later, he reached the top. Xu Wen was still in the dust.

Everything had changed, yet somehow nothing had.
