A young leopard arrived on the Liemeng Grasslands.
Though a stray, he was fierce and strong, never short of prey, and had grown fat and sleek, with a brilliantly colored coat.
He was also in his prime, making many animals feel threatened.
The male animals on the grasslands secretly sharpened their claws, ready to fend off the unwelcome newcomer if he tried to seize their territory.
The female leopards of mating age, meanwhile, sent the handsome leopard longing glances, hoping to find a beautiful romance this spring.
But the leopard ignored every one of these obvious and subtle signals.
The leopard ladies initially assumed he was eccentric and uninterested in romance. They never imagined he wasn't indifferent at all: he just liked to play the field!
Long-haired and short-haired, big and small.
He not only brought all kinds of them back to his den, he even started keeping them!
It was enough to make a leopard's eyes pop. Unheard of!
