The Everyday Life of a Detective Game

Because of a little joke played by fate, the people of the Detective Conan world wake up one day to discover that something is seriously wrong with the entire world.

For example, giant green lines of code float across what used to be a clear blue sky. People walking down the road swing their arms, which occasionally clip through their clothes. Birds float past in bizarre poses before even flapping their wings...

Everyone: ...I must still be dreaming, right?

After a thorough investigation and research, and the World Consciousness dropping to its knees in apology, everyone learns the truth: They have transmigrated.

Not only that, they've transmigrated into a full-dive game modeled on the image of their world, where they've become highly marketable intelligent NPCs.

And so, eager players who come to try out the game find themselves put through the wringer by the many NPCs forced to do their jobs, discovering what hell-level difficulty really means.

[Reader's Guide]:

1. A partly ensemble-cast story. The protagonist is not a player, and there's no romance. The timeline begins before Hagiwara's death. It's a rescue story.

2. Includes game-forum-style sections, which will be marked before the chapter titles.

3. My writing isn't great. If you don't like it, just click the X and get out. Thanks.

4. Please don't mention other stories here, and likewise, don't mention this story under other stories.

5. The players have a mentality similar to that of a Fourth Disaster. Also, there is no Detective Conan manga in the players' world, and the game doesn't exist in the Detective Conan world either.

6. To be added.
