Three years ago, Si Wen ignored his friends' warnings and fell for the notorious Fu family's illegitimate son.

Si Wen had a bad temper, but he kept swallowing his anger to save face for them both.

Until he finished work and went home to discover that the cat they'd raised for three years had gone missing because of Fu Wanglou's negligence. Then he finally snapped.

“You never cared about me at all.”

Fu Wanglou's expression was dark and cold. “I'd say you never truly loved me.”

Fu Wanglou had never believed that someone like him could fall in love with him.

Years of cruel remarks had shown him the true nature of these hypocritical, arrogant people.

When Si Wen first approached him, all he thought about was how to avoid him.

Later, when passion took hold, he told himself he would never fall in love with him.

For three years, he went through the motions of their relationship, growing less and less able to tell whether Si Wen was sincere. To cut his losses before it was too late, he decisively proposed a breakup.

But after they split, seeing Si Wen with someone else made him realize that his frenzied jealousy and possessiveness had long since betrayed the vows he'd made to himself.

He wanted Si Wen.

He wanted him to come back. He wanted him to love him.
