When I Got the Pinduoduo System

(Please read the ending note and heed the warnings)

-

After You Yu died and came back to life, he got a System called Pinduoduo.

The bright red life bar in the upper-right corner counted down the time he had left. First things first: time to spin the wheel!

After the spin

"Super lucky! You've beaten 99.99% of resurrected players. Invite three more people to unlock all the rewards!"

You Yu: I have two hours left to live. Where am I supposed to find three people to invite?

So he turned to a few people who were supposedly his coworkers.

-

"Bourbon, if I invite you to spin the wheel, would you accept?"

"Scotch, inviting someone in the game can raise their affection level. Will yours go up if I invite you?"

"Rye, I'll send you 50. Say yes to my invitation."

"Let's spin the little wheel, water the flowers, grow some vegetables, raise little fish, and open red envelopes together!!!"

-

There was a mysterious senior member in the Organization, codename Bacardi. It seemed that apart from Gin, nobody had ever seen him.

Rumor had it he was cruel and bloodthirsty, devoid of humanity, and took pleasure in torturing others.

-

"..." Bourbon stared at Bacardi, who was inviting him to spin a little wheel with a perfectly serious expression. His face cracked just a little.

This was it? Cruel and bloodthirsty? Devoid of humanity?

You Yu: Are you in or not? If not, say so already. Time is life! (shouting)

-

In the end, as You Yu watched his points keep rising with every new person he invited, he gave the distillery a positive review: "That's right, everyone here really cares about their coworkers!"

Everyone: That lunatic who invites people to spin a little wheel all day!

-

Pairing tentatively set as Gin. Switch, pure romance.

Warnings and notes:

1. The protagonist isn't a true member of the Organization, nor does he deliberately side with the good guys. He wanders in the gray area and simply follows his personal likes and dislikes.

2. The protagonist is a little unhinged. He does most things simply because he feels like it.

3. He didn't recruit the police academy squad, only Jingguang.

4. The System has all kinds of random stuff. There's nothing you can think of that it hasn't thought of.

5. The first invitation counts as a new user; all subsequent invitations count as returning users.

6. Inspired by Pinduoduo.

7. The ending has him traveling the gray area with the big boss, wandering the world and spending their honeymoon together (? You).

Theme: Stay away from Pinduoduo, or you'll become miserable.
