I started preparing this book last April, after finishing Black Moonlight.
I wrote seven or eight versions of the opening and wasn't satisfied with any of them. I unexpectedly published it in August, but wasn't happy with that either.
I worked out all the worldbuilding, outline, detailed outline, and chapter-by-chapter plan, then spent a long time polishing it. It took a full year of being stuck before I finally published it.
I thought that even though writing this book had been a struggle, with a complete outline, character profiles, and detailed plans, I would eventually be able to finish it.
But only when I actually started writing did I realize that I really hate scumbag men. I have absolutely zero tolerance for them.
Whether they're scum through and through or just a little scummy, whether they only use the shou or develop feelings too late, all I want to do is make them eat humble pie and kill them off immediately. At lightning speed.
Slowly torturing them to death, making them go through the long road to win their wives back: just letting scumbag men live one second longer makes me feel awful.
I really did overestimate myself. When I was outlining, I thought I could have the characters play cat and mouse with scumbag men for a few rounds, make them lose the people they loved, shatter them physically and mentally, and ruin their reputations...
But when I started writing the actual story and filling in the details, I realized that even scumbag men liking someone makes me feel awful. I just want to shout, "Get away from me!"
Every time I wrote Le Fuguang having to play along with a scumbag for the sake of a mission, I felt terrible.
When I thought about the four or five scumbag men still to come, each one needing a drawn-out entanglement, I couldn't write another word.
After much painful reflection, I've decided not to continue this book.
Scumbag men shouldn't even appear. I'll just let them die before they're born.
The only people I feel truly sorry for are the lovely readers who've been following this story.
Your support has given me a little love amid all those scumbag men, and helped me keep going until now.
But because of the author, you'll never get to see how this book ends.
The book should automatically become free after three months on hiatus. When that happens, half of your subscription fees will be refunded. I'll also send a red envelope to the lovely readers who leave a comment on the final chapter, Chapter 36, within ten days, as an apology.
The red envelopes will be sent out all at once on November 10.
Thank you, lovely readers, for your support.
One last thing: scumbag men, begone, begone, begone, begone, begone!
Here's the blurb for this book.
"Want to fall in love? The kind where you'd live and die for him, give up your heart and kidneys for him, and even give your life for him."
Le Fuguang: "I refuse to be emotionally manipulated!"
And so, the heartless sword cultivator who killed his wife to prove his Dao had his heartless path shattered;
The Lord of the Heavenly Treasure Pavilion, who sent Le Fuguang, his stand-in, to the Execution Platform, ended up on the platform himself;
The Demon Lord who imprisoned and abused Le Fuguang was imprisoned by Le Fuguang instead;
Later, Le Fuguang found his ex-boyfriends outside his cave residence. There were five of them!
Every one of them had red-rimmed eyes and choked out, "Can we start over?"
Le Fuguang casually grabbed a passerby. "No, because I already have a cultivation partner."
Passerby: "A cultivation partner, huh?"
Only later did Le Fuguang learn that the passerby he'd grabbed at random was the embodiment of the Heavenly Dao and the newly appointed leader of the Immortal Alliance.
Le Fuguang: "Sorry for the trouble. I've never loved you. You're just a tool."
The tool, Jifeng, pondered for a moment. "But I have loved you, and I always will."
Jifeng has a secret: many years ago, before he had even taken human form, he had already fallen for that carefree little cultivator.

Blurb:
Lin Luo is a bottom-tier celebrity in public and a nine-lived cat demon in private.
He gets by on bit parts for food money and solves paranormal cases to earn merit. He may not be rich, but his life is peaceful and smooth.
He never expected that one rainy night, a strange man covered in black energy and marked by ill fortune would collapse, covered in blood, outside Lin Luo's home.
To keep the man from dying on his doorstep and bringing bad luck, Lin Luo had no choice but to sacrifice the tail he'd worked so hard to cultivate in order to save him.
Then one day, Lin Luo, who had always been obscure, inexplicably became famous;
The ferocious ghosts and monsters he'd struggled to deal with suddenly turned into pitiful little things, begging him to spare them;
And when he got home at night, a handsome, tall man was blocking his door, asking to keep a cat!
Lin Luo: Meow~! What on earth is going on?!
Yan Futu came to the human world ten years ago to undergo a trial, but with his cultivation sealed, he nearly died.
Fortunately, a nine-lived black cat stayed by his side, caring for him day and night and keeping him alive.
Ten years later, he returned to his divine position in the underworld. His first words were: "I want to keep a cat."
A few days later, the headline on the Underworld's official account read: "We Have a Cat!"
Picky, tempestuous, easily ruffled shou x gentle, scheming Ghost King gong

Theme: Immortal cultivation dreams and traditional culture.
So I want to ask, sir, if you could post your outline or something so that we can see what this story is like. Of course I know this is impossible after all, we have to eliminate the possibility of plagiarism, but I really think this story is quite interesting. The male protagonist only lives as a pitiful person in the introduction.
I feel like the author did a pretty good job and explained the reasons clearly.
It's great. Although I saw this article for the first time today, I really like the idea of posting an outline instead of just disappearing. The author will continue to work hard for the next article!
Preparation for this book began after I finished writing "Black Moonlight" in April last year. I wrote seven or eight versions at the beginning, but I wasn't very satisfied with it; I published an article unexpectedly in August midway through, and I wasn't satisfied with it either. It took a long time to finish all the setting, outline, detailed outline, and chapters. It took a full year before I published the article. I thought that although this book was stumbling, it could be completed after all with a complete outline, characters, and details. But when I actually wrote it, I realized that I really hate scumbags and have zero tolerance for them. Whether he is a complete scumbag or a bit of a scumbag, whether he is just taking advantage of a small favor or showing belated affection, I just want to slap him in the face and kill him at the speed of light. "Slowly tortured to death," chasing his wife in the crematorium, letting the scumbag live for one more second makes me feel uncomfortable all over. Sure enough, I still overestimated myself. When I wrote the outline, I thought I could fight with scumbags for a few rounds, causing them to lose their love, causing them physical and mental damage, and ruining their reputation... Finally, when I actually started to write the text and enriched the details, I realized that the scumbag's liking made me feel uncomfortable all over, and I just wanted to yell, don't touch me. Every time I write about Le Fuguang having to have sex with a scumbag for the sake of his mission, I feel very bad. When I thought about the fact that there were four or five scumbags behind me, and each of them had to be dragged through, the author really couldn't write a single word. After learning from the pain, I decided not to continue this book. Scumbags shouldn't even appear, it's better to let them be stillborn. The only ones who feel very sorry are the little angels who have been following the article. It is your support that allows me to feel a little love when surrounded by scumbags, and I am able to support myself until now. But now, because of the author's reasons, I can't see the ending of this book. This book should automatically resolve V after three months of suspension. If it resolves V, half of the subscription fee will be refunded. In addition, I will also send red envelopes to the little angels who left messages on the last chapter (that is, Chapter 36) within ten days to express my apology. Red envelopes will be distributed uniformly on November 10th. Thank you little angels for your support. The last thing I want to say is: Scumbag, back off, back off.
No, you don't need to delete the comment. . . . What I said is the truth. I have seen this place, and you said that you want to solve v, and that you face a scumbag. You really can't write about it. If you hate it so much from the beginning, can you not write about scumbags?
Why are my comments gone???
No, you hate scumbags, why don't you just stop writing this book from the beginning? You have already seen this, and you just said you want to solve v. . . .
Alas, I stopped writing all of a sudden... I was so uncomfortable that I couldn't sleep
I made some reservations before, but I didn't go to Jinjiang much after that. When I opened Jinjiang again, I saw the notice and was stunned for a moment [scared]
Oops, I saw my comment and I was shocked. I thought my comment was deleted.
