Zhao Yuchen, a student in the Empire's Paleontology Department, found a little ink dragon at the starport one day.

To avoid failing "Introduction to Ancient Demons," Zhao Yuchen decided to adopt the dragon and give him plenty of pets.

After petting him for several years, Zhao Yuchen suddenly realized that this wasn't a pet ink dragon at all. He was the legendary Demon King Mo Xuan, an immensely powerful being who despised humans and would massacre the galaxy at the slightest provocation!

On the frigid planet Chenxing, Mo Xuan's handsome, cold face was expressionless. "Bring me the human who dared to pet me back then!"

Caught off guard when the Demon King called him out, Zhao Yuchen panicked and could only carefully explain what had happened. "When I petted you, it was genuinely in the spirit of academic research into ancient creatures. I really didn't mean anything else."

Mo Xuan's gaze paused. "Did you kiss me for academic research too?"

Zhao Yuchen: ...

After three months imprisoned by the Demon King, Zhao Yuchen finally proved, through his newly written "On One Hundred Ways to Kiss an Ancient Demon," that he really had petted the demon in the spirit of academic research.
