The Cat of the Underworld

Lin Luo is a B-list actor in public and a nine-lives cat demon in private.

He gets by on bit parts to earn his keep and solves supernatural incidents to earn merit. His life isn't exactly rich and luxurious, but at least it's safe and peaceful.

He never expected that one rainy night, a stranger covered in black aura and burdened by ill fortune would collapse, drenched in blood, right outside Lin Luo's home.

To keep the man from dying on his doorstep and bringing bad luck, Lin Luo had no choice but to sacrifice the tail he'd worked so hard to cultivate to save this stranger.

Then one day, the once-obscure Lin Luo inexplicably became famous;

The evil spirits and monsters that had been so difficult to deal with suddenly turned into pitiful little creatures in front of him, begging him to spare them;

And when he got home at night, a handsome, tall man was blocking the door, saying he wanted to raise a cat!

Lin Luo: Meow~! What on earth is going on here?!

Yan Futu came to the human world ten years ago to undergo a tribulation. His cultivation was sealed, and he nearly died.

Fortunately, a nine-lives mystic cat stayed by his side, caring for him day and night and keeping him alive.

Ten years later, he returned to his position as a god in the Underworld. His first words were: I want to raise a cat.

A few days later, the top headline on the Underworld's official account read: [We have a cat!]

Picky, spoiled, and prickly bottom X gentle, cunning Ghost King top

Theme: There has never been a savior. We don't rely on gods or emperors, either.
