The Distillery Went Bankrupt, So Black Tou and I Were Forced to Live Together

This blurb was written years ago. While organizing the outline, I added a lot of content and details to enrich the story, but its core remains mostly unchanged. I haven't thought of a replacement blurb yet; writing the blurb is harder than writing the story :)

One day, the Public Security Bureau of the Detective Conan world stormed the organization's hideout and swiftly arrested every high-ranking member present. Hoshino Izumi was hiding in a darkroom when she saw the big, dumb-looking team leader walk up to a member with the codename Bourbon and bow respectfully. His voice brimmed with excited joy. "Mr. Furuya! Thank you for all your hard work undercover these past few years!"

"?!"

Hoshino Izumi's eyes widened in shock.

Today was the day she planned to confess to her boss, Gin. She'd already booked the flowers, wine, red carpet, and hotel! Now none of it would be any use!

She gritted her teeth and hid in the shadows, preparing a rescue plan. But before the team could leave, that damned traitor Bourbon opened the door to the darkroom and said, "Izumi, come home with me."

Hoshino Izumi realized that he seemed to have hidden her identity from the police. With an inscrutable, mocking smile, he explained, "Because I like you. You have to stay by my side. Nothing else matters."

"..."

She scoffed at his explanation. The Public Security Bureau in the Detective Conan world was the most cunning creature on Earth.

Until one night, she lay in bed pretending to sleep. The door creaked open, and a man smelling faintly of alcohol barged into her room and pressed himself against her. His slightly calloused palm gently traced the outline of her face. He said, "Izumi, my light, my source of all evil."

After his heartfelt confession, Hoshino Izumi felt her nightgown loosen around her.

"!"

No way!

Kazami Yuuya felt that his superior seemed to have been corrupted by the organization after leaving his undercover life behind. That bone-deep, chilling aura kept surfacing from time to time!

Until one day, he knocked on his superior's door. The woman who answered was wearing pajamas, had a hickey on her neck, and was the same woman his superior had failed to win over despite several attempts!

Kazami was so shocked he could fit an egg in his mouth. "Mr. Furuya, you finally got the girl?!"

His superior put an arm around her shoulders. "Oh, we've been living together for ages. I couldn't win her over because we were role-playing."

Kazami: "..."

So this is what you're like, Mr. Furuya! Something is definitely not right here!

-A word of warning-

The male lead is a bad guy pretending to be a good person: a dark version of Toru Amuro.
