My Seatmate Has Superpowers

After the class placement exams, Kusuo Saiki's desk mate changed from a rough boy who dozed off and ground his teeth during study hall to a shy girl who wore glasses and acted completely ordinary in every way.

At first glance, he had all her details:

She looked like nothing but a skeleton. Affection level: 25. There was a pineapple-flavored lollipop in her pocket.

Kusuo Saiki: The affection level is a little low, but it doesn't matter. At least she's not a nuisance.

*

Later, something went wrong somewhere:

His X-ray vision stopped working. Affection level: 250. And, by the way, her pocket held coffee jelly and handmade chocolates today.

Kusuo Saiki: The affection meter must be malfunctioning. What a fascinating number.

The psychic Kusuo quietly gazed up at the sky.

The heroine's confession:

#I have a completely unremarkable quirk#

#My cousin taught me to keep a low profile#

#I wear glasses with no prescription because my glare is terrifying#

#I've fallen for my desk mate, a very ordinary high school student, but I've noticed that the girls around me are gradually falling for him too#

*

And so Naruse Hori took off her glasses, which had zero prescription.

*

Naruse, ready to climb to the top of the world, Hori: If I keep pretending to be useless, someone else is going to steal my man!!!

Saiki, who only wants to be ordinary, Kusuo: Please keep pretending to be useless. You're too much trouble like this.
