This was written when I was still a beginner, and the story ends abruptly. If I have time in the future, I may gender-swap the protagonist's setup and write another story. Either way, read this one at your own risk.
Shanyue, a beastman stranded on a primitive planet, found another beastman one day.
He was an ancestral merfolk, fair-skinned and beautiful, and so frail that he wouldn't survive ten days if she left him alone.
But Shanyue wanted some company in her daily life, and he might also be her hope of getting off this primitive planet, so she took him in and raised him.
And he really did take Shanyue away from the planet.
Except...
At first, she gained a wonderful older brother in her life, someone who taught her things and offered advice.
Then, before she knew it, she had a fake? love interest, who helped fend off the upperclassmen and devoted admirers at school.
But when he learned that her family was planning to arrange a matchmaking date for Shanyue, he quickly erased the word “fake” from “fake love interest” and became the real thing.
Reader's Guide:
1. The male and female leads are based on a Komodo dragon and a mermaid. There is no beast transformation, and the female lead is the Komodo dragon. She has scales on her hands, shark teeth, a yellow forked tongue, and venom glands in her mouth. When the male lead falls into water, pink cracks appear on his neck.
2. I wrote this a long time ago and have forgotten what happens. I don't think I even knew how to outline back then. In the future, I plan to reuse this female lead's setup (her body!) to write a story with a different male lead, because I don't think I managed to include everything I wanted to write here. This one's just something to make do with. It felt like a waste not to post it.
Also, here's a preview of another story I'm currently drafting: The Villain Is Self-Destructing Again (Quick Transmigration)
[My computer broke, and I can't keep up with daily updates while writing on my phone, so I'm drafting ahead first.]
Every story has villains who are obsessive and dark, born to oppose the protagonist. Despite their outstanding talent and dazzling achievements, they can only end up as stepping stones beneath the protagonist's feet.
As an employee of the Great Sins, Gu Jinwei's job is to support these villains until they become protagonists, disrupt the plot, and steal the world's energy.
The mission was supposed to be very straightforward. The problem was that the villains were always attracted to Gu Jinwei, who was “loyal,” “secretly in love with,” and “pursuing” them, and insisted on getting her to date them.
Gu Jinwei: Ah, it's not like I'm against it.
Worlds:
[Modern] The children's show villain eventually becomes the CEO of a publicly listed company
Gu Jinwei: “There's no future in conquering the world. Using my own skills to build a career in another field is the right way.”
The Fruit Five Warriors lose their enemy when the villain exits, and with him, their popularity. The main storyline is successfully changed.
[Modern] The schemed-against rich heir eventually becomes an overbearing CEO who can destroy a family with a single word
Gu Jinwei: “It's been so long since the young master smiled so sincerely. We have to bring that woman to him!”
Rich heir: “What? Don't I smile at you every day?”
As the protagonists keep changing, the modern urban story of domineering pursuit turns into one about an overbearing young master and his devoted little maid (?).
[Beast World] A winged man who failed to find a mate
[Future] An esper who became a zombie after being betrayed by his teammates
More to be added as I write.
Reader's Guide:
1. I'm revising the blurb and have slightly changed the setup to give the protagonists a closer connection. All my draft chapters are now useless, sob.
2. One-on-one relationships in each arc. There is no one true love; each boyfriend has equal standing (there will never be multiple partners at the same time!).
[My completed story next door: After Getting Trapped in a Game, I Made a Fortune Through Farming. After Finding a Beautiful Merman on a Desolate Planet. Feel free to check it out if you pass by~]
Theme: No matter where you are, never give up on living.
Has it started yet? No! It's over!
".,"Catch a big bug for the author~
"The city is" is a big bug for the author~ Yes
When the author sets the female protagonist as a giant lizard, and no matter what you set the male protagonist to be, I will subconsciously think that she is Indian. . . . That news was terrible.
Very well written and beautiful! Hey, it's just a little short.
Is the author's previous ID called Floating Bird? I read a short story about Komodo Lovers before and it seemed like this setting.
Very well written! Why doesn't anyone comment? Does your wife update every day? Is the male main character online? Hhh, looking forward to it!
