Forcing a Marriage with a Centaur Gentleman

The first thing the Blood-Eyed Princess Lisa Evelyn did after ascending the throne was recall her former teacher, who had been sent to the front lines.

Then she arranged her own engagement.

She wanted her beloved military instructor, cherished lover, and the knight who had safeguarded the kingdom's peace, the centaur general Tobias Clarion, to become her royal consort.

He had no say in the matter.

In the Empire, centaurs are considered inferior beings.

Ever since the Empire conquered their territory a hundred and twenty years ago, they have been second-class citizens.

So even though Tobias was a military genius of his generation and a cavalry general blessed with divine power, the day after the princess confessed her feelings to him, the king immediately sent him to the dangerous front lines.

Tobias thought he would soon fall on the battlefield.

But when he was recalled just three years later, he never expected to find his former student, Princess Lisa Evelyn, sitting on the throne.

And the first thing she did after bringing him back was demand that he become her royal consort.

Reading guide:

1. The heroine is a monster who doesn't understand love, though I think what she feels still counts as love. The hero is quite gentle by comparison.

2. Chuuni warning: the author came up with stuff like blood eyes, tyrants, and centaurs kneeling, and just went with it.

3. Maybe a warning? The hero wears a corset. This idea had been sitting around because the plot spans such a long time, starting when she teaches him as a child, and the setup felt like too much work. Then I saw a scene or screenshot from an anime or manga, I forget which, featuring a centaur in a corset. Oh! A corset and a centaur! I'm inspired again!

4. There are some flashbacks, but not too many. The story opens with mutual feelings, though she was only his tutor in one subject, something like a Grand Tutor, and there was nothing romantic between them while that relationship lasted.

5. I haven't thought of a title yet, so I'm using the character setup for now.
