The Call of the Deep

Eight years ago, Yun Qining had a gap in her memory. Then, on her birthday, she had a fantastical dream.

In the dream, she fell into a dark, icy abyss and saw a mysterious, magnificent palace beneath the sea.

It was a dreamlike fairy-tale world.

Beautiful pearls shimmered among the coral, colorful schools of fish swam around her, and the grand palace blazed with light.

In the blink of an eye, it all became a ruined wasteland, lying quietly in the darkness.

Yun Qining wanted to approach, but through a haze she heard a clear, sorrowful voice: "A Ning, don't come back again."

She woke from the dream and found herself standing by the sea, gazing out at the water.

Then she heard that voice again, as if coming from the darkest depths of the abyss. It was a call from the deep sea: "A Ning, I miss you so much."
