[Shameless, adaptable shou x aloof, restrained, says one thing and means another gong]

Gu Jintang, a tough-as-nails straight woman, suddenly finds herself transported to another world, where she becomes a penniless, homeless, identity-less refugee.

That’s not all. Her original body belonged to a treacherous official, the Vice Minister of the Court of Judicial Review, who disappeared after being demoted three months ago.

She has plenty of enemies, and someone has even put out a bounty for her. The one who posted it is her old nemesis, Lu Nan, Grand Tutor Lu.

The people say that Grand Tutor Lu is a bright moon in the heavens, while she is a dung beetle in the dirt.

Gu Jintang scoffs, flips Lu Nan off in her mind, and gives her the nickname Black Widow.

But as soon as Gu Jintang arrives, the Black Widow captures her and ruthlessly mocks her: “I never thought a prodigy like Lord Gu would end up like this.”

Gu Jintang tries to escape, but a heavy blow to the head leaves her injured. Her last thought is: This is a blessing in disguise!

When she wakes, she pretends to have amnesia, tilting her head and asking, “Who am I? Where am I? Who are you?”

From then on, she puts on a master-class performance, playing an amnesiac fool.

Lu Nan’s heart sinks. Oh no, she really did hit the idiot stupid. Now she has to take care of this corrupt official’s daily needs and comfort her fragile heart, too?

Gu Jintang enjoys a pretty comfortable life, until one day her identity is exposed. Seeing the Black Widow’s face dark as the bottom of a pot, she instinctively turns and runs.

Lu Nan chases after her and kicks Gu Jintang, her pretty boy, to the ground. Gu Jintang clings to her leg and weeps bitterly: “Grand Tutor, I was wrong.”

Lu Nan snorts. “Either make it up to me with your body or sign a contract of servitude. Pick one!”
