[Qing Transmigration] The Leisurely Imperial Consort Refuses to Raise a Child

What should you do after transmigrating as Yi Pin Guo Luoluo? Use your knowledge of history and Kangxi's favor to plan ahead, help your son win the succession battle, and claim the throne as Empress Dowager?

Forget it. Kangxi's sons are all intense competitors, and the Fourth Prince is a workaholic on top of that. Even if you compete, you might not win, and if you lose, you will die. Isn't it better to live well?

Guo Ran just wants to be a slacker. She wants to slack off, and she wants her son to slack off too, so neither of them gets caught up in the succession battle. Push her kid to excel? Not happening.

Compete for favor? Not happening. She is the mistress of her own palace, with plenty to eat and drink and a generous allowance. Why offend a bunch of competitive coworkers and risk childbirth?

If Kangxi summons her, she might as well enjoy it. After all, Kangxi was a historically enlightened ruler, and he could still father sons in his sixties. A young, virile Kangxi was pretty good.

And yet...

Kangxi discovered that being with Yi Pin was a uniquely enjoyable experience. Why did he feel like he was the one doing all the serving?

But why had Guo Ran's name plaque been flipped so often that its paint was wearing off?

Premise: Obey the law in every era.
