To My Dear Heloise

Bertha:

I'm a bad woman.

But I work hard at my job (by which I mean killing people), and I consider myself a model employee.

At long last, I finally reached retirement.

I thought I could spend my days living carefree on all the money I couldn't possibly use up, but the damn boss turned around and stabbed me in the back.

Fine.

To escape the organization's assassins, I threatened an honest man into pretending to marry me, and... fell in love with his sweet, adorable little daughter.

Heloise:

I take pride in my father.

He's noble, affectionate, kind, devoted, and a true gentleman.

Until one day, he brought home a young woman only a few years older than me. She became my stepmother.

I hate him.

But I hate myself even more for developing strange feelings for my stepmother...

Working title for now.

Character details to come.
