Remember to Bring Your Puppy Home on Rainy Days

On a stormy day, Wen Si found a runaway girl outside a convenience store and temporarily took her home.

The girl's dark eyes were dull and lifeless.

She hung her head dejectedly,

like a poor, drenched puppy.

Qiu Bai finally summoned the courage to escape the abyss and come to the human world she'd longed for.

Qiu Bai never expected that, despite being the most powerful member of the Nightmare Clan in the abyss, she'd end up homeless once she came to the human world.

She also discovered that the human world was nothing like the beautiful place described in storybooks. Most people she met would frown at her, their eyes filled with fear and shock or disgust and disdain.

Until one day, while she was scavenging for food beside a convenience store's trash can...

A woman's warm hands gently smoothed her tangled hair.

A glimmer slowly appeared in the eyes of the withdrawn little member of the Nightmare Clan.

She's so gentle.

I can't help wanting to... get closer to her.

Gentle, powerful older woman x poor, homeless little member of the Nightmare Clan
