The Saintess and the Demon King

Daina, a former saint born a commoner, was chosen and raised to be sacrificed, but she did not die.

She was given a new life as a noble young lady.

She gained the freedom and pleasures she had never been allowed before. She could laugh and make friends, and no longer had to spend all day reciting prayers in a cramped room.

Now she could receive compliments like any other girl, and was even hailed as the Crystal Rose of the Kingdom of Gaitu.

And she also... picked up the Demon King.

God has never descended to earth, but the beings known as [Demon Kings] live among humanity.

One rules the sea, another leads the magical beasts, and the third...

The black-haired, red-eyed Demon King turned to welcome her with an embrace. In an instant, flames reduced the twisted remains to ashes.

Daina asked, “What was that? Was it... like the hero who forged the holy sword from my life in my previous life?”

The Demon King answered innocently, “A bad person who came to bully me.”

A Demon King who restrains his nature only to cause trouble and shamelessly cling to people x an ordinary, adorable (and grudge-holding) girl who loves life~
