His Majesty Is a Treacherous Rebel (Simulator)

What's the experience of playing a single-player game like?

At first, you fumble around and everything feels fresh and exciting. Then, once you've mastered the mechanics, you only care about rare traits and special events. Later on, you start coming up with all kinds of clever strategies to maximize your gains, speed through the game without a shred of emotion, or aim for a perfect score that's a pleasure to behold... and do whatever you want.

If you can't play however you like, why would anyone keep grinding in The Lord's Life Simulator: Imagination Edition?

So says one anonymous player.

One NPC didn't know that the extraordinary stroke of luck, or perhaps calamity, of retaining the memories of every loop came solely from an interesting rare character trait in a text-based single-player game. He only knew that he was about to go mad.

Could someone tell him how much longer this torment would last? That person was going to find him... find him again! He was coming.

In any case, this was already an uncountable number of playthroughs in. The player's command of the plot routes and stockpile of achievement points would guarantee that they could turn the tables and control everything in this new game.

So, esteemed player, relax and enjoy the fruits of everything you've built up so far.

(The protagonist is the player, and the whole story takes place as they experience the game. It focuses on how a single thought can lead to good or evil, so the protagonist can't be a perfectly good person.)

(The rare character trait refers to a meta element, a design that breaks the fourth wall. In the game, the System or characters may speak to the player outside the screen, a common feature in all kinds of games.)
