After Going Abroad to Catch Ghosts, I Became Famous in the Western Occult World

Hua Zijin is a prodigy of the modern Taoist world and an avid ghost hunter.

Unfortunately, ghost-hunting Taoists are a dime a dozen in China, and competition is fierce. There aren't enough ghosts to satisfy him.

By chance, he caught sight of an overseas ghost-hunting livestream variety show and realized that Western exorcists had a pitifully limited repertoire. They knew nothing about divination or talismans.

Most importantly, even through the screen, Hua Zijin could see that the foreign lands were crawling with demons and ghosts.

Even lowly earthbound spirits dared to flash the exorcists an internationally recognized rude gesture.

Hua Zijin was ecstatic and frantically tapped his phone to sign up: “I'm going abroad to show Western ghosts and exorcists what they're up against!”

[The blurb may be tweaked slightly, but the central premise won't change]

1. The idea came from watching foreign horror movies and getting so frustrated I could hardly stand it. It always feels like a Taoist could solve the problem with a few talismans, yet everyone ends up in such a terrible state. That's how I came up with this premise: a local celestial master teaches foreign ghosts a lesson.

2. This is entirely fictional, and I make all the rules. I'm writing it for fun, so please enjoy it for fun too, and don't relate it to real life.
