Synopsis:
My name is Nanako. I used to be a model young person of the new century, but then I transmigrated.
Unfortunately, things went to hell from the start. I transmigrated into the body of the poor little Nanako, with her twin sister Mimiko by my side.
I knew we'd be adopted by Geto in the future, but that might not happen for a few years. No, we couldn't wait. I had to take my poor, frail little sister and find our bargain-bin dad. After eighty-one trials and tribulations, we finally found Geto.
I put all my acting skills to use, and even signaled Mimiko to put on a pitiful act too. Who knew...
Mimiko: A-ba-ba-ba-ba...
Me: ...Sis, are you okay?
This isn't Mimiko's fault. She must have a psychological disorder. I need to take her to a psychologist.
My name is Mimiko. I used to be an ordinary person. One day, I closed my eyes, opened them again, and found myself in a different place, speaking a different language.
Luckily, after I transmigrated, I found myself with a reliable sister. She led me out of the wolves' den and took me wandering from place to place.
My sister seemed to be looking for someone. Later, she took me to a big city, and the person she'd been looking for finally appeared. My sister passionately told him something, then signaled for me to say something too.
I... couldn't understand Japanese at all. But with no way to back out now, I gritted my teeth and went for it. So...
Me: A-ba-ba-ba-ba...
Later, we were adopted. My sister keeps thinking I have a psychological disorder and takes me to a psychologist every weekend.
Help: How can I gesture so she'll understand that I simply don't speak Japanese, and that I'm not mentally ill?
Note:
1. The story is told from Mimiko's point of view. She's a hapless girl with nothing but brute strength.
2. Although both girls transmigrated, they won't know this about each other at first (their language channels aren't connected yet).
3. This isn't an adaptation of the original Jujutsu Kaisen. It's a lighthearted, cheerful story with almost no angst, focused on everyday life and a slow-burn pace.
4. Multiple worlds come together. If this sounds like your thing, feel free to add it to your favorites.
5. The main characters have no romantic pairing in the main story. There might possibly be one in the extras?
Theme: The two sisters join forces to build a wonderful new life
