Zhenxi's one precious reason to keep living is to get into the police academy, find the killer who murdered the Hasegawa family all those years ago, and bring the criminal to justice. For that, she studies all kinds of theoretical and practical knowledge every day!
But one day, her kindly next-door neighbor, Grandpa Shangchuan, is murdered. His grandson tells her that he is actually a nonhuman experimental subject from the Black Organization, and that the Hasegawa family was killed because of her. Both Grandpa Shangchuan and his grandson had been sent by the organization to keep an eye on her.
To escape the organization's surveillance, Grandpa Shangchuan's grandson decides to cooperate with the Public Security Bureau. He takes her with him, abandoning their current identities and everything else so they can live once more in the sunlight with entirely new lives.
After becoming Abe Yukari, she works as the manager of the Hyotei tennis club during the day. At night, she secretly continues studying all kinds of subjects on her own. Even after being forbidden from joining the investigation into the Black Organization, she continues her work in secret.
Later, she discovers that many others are on the trail of the Black Organization: a dark-skinned man with a hidden identity, a man with long lower eyelashes who has infiltrated the organization, a grade-schooler with amazing deductive skills, and a phantom thief who takes pleasure in stealing jewels...
The road is full of hardships, but she firmly believes she can bring down the Black Organization! The good guys have to win!
