[Douluo Dalu] Tang San Might Not Be as Melancholy as Me

Xuan Xiao transmigrated into Douluo Dalu. But he was depressed. In a setting like this, even Tang San might not be as depressed as me. (Facepalm!) The good news: he had the talent to become a Soul Master! He'd transmigrated into the fanfic he'd written himself. Could the protagonist's cheat be weak? In other words, he had the Twin Martial Souls that were standard power creep in fanfiction. First Martial Soul: [Violet Soul Vine], poison + control Second Martial Soul: [Modern Firearms], skills with no cooldown + armor piercing He could attack and support himself, and easily defeat opponents above his level! The bad news: in the original story, he'd written that his own ridiculously overpowered Martial Souls would get him taken away by the Spirit Hall as soon as he awakened them. The Pope wanted to use the original host as a secret weapon and brainwash him, then let him out when needed. The more fun it had been to fantasize about, the more miserable it was to transmigrate into. Xuan Xiao: This isn't good! While feeling depressed, Xuan Xiao considered whether he could get Qian Renxue and Tang San on his side. They were both opposed to the Pope, after all! An enemy's enemy is a friend! After a series of maneuvers, he really was taken in by Qian Renxue and went with her to the Heaven Dou Empire as a spy. Xuan Xiao: Huh? Then Qian Renxue told him to get close to Tang San. If they couldn't recruit him later, they could find a chance to stab him. Xuan Xiao, unable to shake his depression: Huh?! I'm supposed to fight Tang San? Seriously?! He's the protagonist! Honestly, it wasn't until he transmigrated that Xuan Xiao realized he really didn't want to deal with some grand ambition or the future of Soul Masters! But he couldn't stay out of it! War (×) Peace (✓) After agonizing over it, Xuan Xiao made up his mind: I'll be a double agent. He humored Spirit Hall's orders, halfheartedly carried out Qian Renxue's plans, and stayed out of Tang San's main storyline. Of course, to everyone else, he was a depressed, brooding man with a complicated past. (Not really.) But in the end... Things didn't go as he wished. “Greetings, Your Holiness, ” The crowd bowed as one. Wearing a golden papal robe, Xuan Xiao stood atop the platform of Spirit Hall and ascended to the position of Pope. He dragged Douluo Dalu onto a completely different path. Notes: 1. The original protagonist isn't vilified. They simply have different ideals. 2. This is a wish-fulfillment story. 3. The premise has been changed. Theme: Never forget your original aspiration.
