The Trash-Picking Thief [Full-Dive VR]

Tango died, then came back to life in another world.

As a highly skilled double agent, she never imagined that one day she'd put her skills to use playing a game.

She uses her sharp instincts to read NPCs' moods, her clever mind to puzzle out the plot, and her excellent combat skills to scavenge loot in the middle of a free-for-all.

Crouching in the grass and keeping an eye on a field boss, Tango laments that finding a new job as a thief after being laid off is hard. She sends the field boss's coordinates to all the major guilds. Scavenging gear without the right conditions, and having to create those conditions herself, is no easy task.

Her junk business keeps growing, to the point that people offer to pay her to "pick up" the gear of some big shot from a particular guild. How could she do something so rotten?

The third time Tango lands a killing blow on a guild leader during a free-for-all, she cries as she picks up the dropped gear and the materials she's just collected. She doesn't want to do it, but the other side is paying too much.

Later, she happens to discover that the original owner's brother, Lin Yichuan, plays the game too.

Lin Yichuan: You're the thief Tango who killed me three times and looted my gear?

Tango: And you're the unlucky guild leader who rallied your whole guild to kill me on sight?

They both fall silent. Lin Yichuan logs back in and withdraws the bounty on Tango. In return, Tango promptly betrays the client who hired someone to kill him.

The client who ordered the hit: Something feels off here!
