[Fourth Calamity, No CP, Two-Way Full-Dive Game]
In the interstellar age, technology is advancing rapidly, and humanity no longer needs ancient games.
It was an old game program abandoned by countless planets and their rulers.
Before it could be destroyed for good, it summoned an ancient Earthling on the brink of death to take over its body and help fulfill its wish of restoring the glory of the ancient game.
You Hei, who would die if he didn't fulfill the wish: "..."
Scamming one person is a scam. Scamming a whole bunch of people is a scam, too.
So he turned his body into a comprehensive full-dive game.
Then, without hesitation, he lured players from all over Earth into it, making them do quests and hard labor while he sat back and reaped the rewards.
Recently, an old full-dive game has become popular across the star regions.
Its quaint setting, ancient history, bizarre shops, inexplicable minigames, and a bunch of NPCs modeled after ancient Earthlings...
Have made interstellar humans completely hooked.
Interstellar Player #1: "The NPCs in there even swear at you, and they swear so filthy I can't even swear back at them."
Interstellar Player #2: "Tell me about it. All I did was accidentally knock his house down. What's so great about that dump? It's full of holes and was bound to collapse sooner or later. The moment I said that, the NPC grabbed a stick and tried to take me down with him."
Meanwhile, on Earth...
"At last, a full-dive game in my lifetime!"
A business-management full-dive game launched on Earth. The players who got into the closed beta entered the game one by one, claiming plots of land and building their own shops.
One Earth player angrily commented on the game's official account: "These NPCs are outrageous! I worked so hard to build a haunted house. I was just one little bit away from opening it, and that NPC tore it down right in front of me!"
Another Earth player was trembling with rage: "The NPCs in there are such sore losers!"
"He wouldn't admit he lost the game, so I argued with him."
"When he couldn't win the argument, he hit me and smashed up my shop!"
Interstellar players: "We're the players. They're NPCs."
Earth players: "Funny, that's what we think, too."
#I take Earth players to play games in the stars, while interstellar players think I'm taking them to play games in ancient Earth.#
#I opened an old-fashioned entertainment city in an interstellar full-dive game.#
#I made a business-management full-dive game on Earth.#
#Making games with all my heart, scamming both sides with equal dedication.#
