The Stubborn Beta Has Changed His Mind

1.

A fated pair is an Alpha and an Omega with a 100% match.

They say that when a fated pair meets, the same mark appears on both of them.

Bo Wan was an S-rank Alpha admired by everyone, while Qi Fengqiu was a Beta bought by the Bo family to serve as Bo Wan's tool. He was there to help the Alpha vent his excess energy and take care of his daily needs.

Qi Fengqiu put up with Bo Wan's unreasonable demands and mercurial temper, diligently staying by his side for ten years. The only reason was that he could never forget the ten-year-old Bo Wan, covered in bruises, gripping his hand and telling him he liked him.

Then, when he was twenty, Bo Wan complained that the breakfast Qi Fengqiu had made was too salty. As he wiped his mouth, a violet-shaped mark showed on his wrist.

It was the mark of a fated pair.

"Are you going to marry him?" Qi Fengqiu asked.

Bo Wan nodded, his expression cool. "Yeah."

At that moment, Qi Fengqiu suddenly felt tired.

2.

Everything Bo Wan did always drew attention.

Everyone thought that now Bo Wan had met his fated pair, he would surely send away the boring, dull Beta at his side.

So Qi Fengqiu had the sense to leave on his own. What he didn't know was that after he left, Bo Wan searched for him like a madman, asking everywhere if anyone knew where he was.

They met again when Bo Wan knocked on his door, burning with fever, his face flushed as he held Qi Fengqiu tightly.

"Xiao Qiu..." The violet on Bo Wan's wrist was covered by a burn-like mark. Trembling, he showed Qi Fengqiu the mark he had now.

Beneath his translucent skin was a maple leaf patterned in ink. The artificial mark seemed to proclaim his claim to everyone.

"Xiao Qiu, now I have your mark. I'm yours, I'm yours. Don't leave me."

"...Please."

Reader's Note:

1. The term "fated pair" comes from Japanese manga and anime.

2. In this story, when a fated pair meets, the same mark appears on both of them, though it may be in different places. The design of the mark is generally determined by the Alpha's pheromones.

Theme: Treat everyone equally.
