Kyono's Wanton Desires

[Wealthy heir x doctor from a scholarly family, sweet romance, devoted love, and both leads have only ever been with each other]

Gentle, soft-spoken Wen Yan had hidden in corners to watch Wu Mingwei many times.

The impossibly handsome young heir to a financial conglomerate stood on the basketball court during breaks, sinking shot after shot. His lean waistline was strikingly alluring, and his world-weary, sophisticated face made him look like a male siren who could be the death of you. The girls at school said he looked like he had a very high fertility rate at first glance.

Wu Mingwei was always surrounded by admirers and never lacked girls who liked him or confessed to him. Naturally, he never paid any attention to an uninteresting, well-behaved girl like Wen Yan.

Everyone thought that a born aristocrat, as dazzling and upright as a bright moon, would never take an interest in Wen Yan.

Unexpectedly, that day Wu Mingwei was lounging in a bar booth, looking amused as he waited for the girl who had lost a game to work up the courage to straddle his narrow waist in front of everyone and kiss him, her lashes trembling.

Seeing her fair cheeks and neck flush red, he leaned close to her ear with a roguish smile. His voice was husky and textured. "The way I kissed you in the bathroom last night, that's what a real French kiss is."

No one knew that Wen Yan had been the first to coldly call an end to their relationship for good.

Several years later, Wen Yan met Wu Mingwei again.

He was still the brilliant, blessed young man who shone like the stars and moon, pursuing his daring dreams as always.

She was a surgeon who lived a quiet, conventional life.

On a snowy night, the man who had once been so arrogant held Wen Yan tightly in his arms, squeezing her until her bones hurt. Admitting defeat, he asked in her ear, "Wen Yan, does what you said when you were eighteen still count? That you'd spend your whole life with me?"
