The Alluring Colors of Mi Harbor

[Hong Kong Island's aloof young heir X the Bay Area's glamorous little heiress, both leads are each other's first, sweet romance]

Cheng Zhizhao had a peach-blossom face and a graceful, alluring beauty, like a butterfly on a spring day.

The elegant beauty always claimed she had no intention of marrying, but at twenty-three, the Bay Area's most powerful family, the Chengs, forced her into an arranged marriage with the heir of a prominent Hong Kong family.

On the matchmaking night that had the Hong Kong media buzzing, Cheng Zhizhao walked toward her match at the Rosewood Hotel near Victoria Harbour, her high heels clicking and her custom spaghetti-strap gown swaying around her.

Her date, visibly annoyed, reminded her impatiently, "Miss Cheng, you're a full hour late. Do you even care about the business alliance between our families?"

"Sorry, my driver ran into a bit of trouble on the way here." Cheng Zhizhao's red lips curved, her voice soft and sweet. A little strawberry was conspicuously printed on her snowy white neck.

Less than half an hour after they sat down, Cheng Zhizhao's phone rang nonstop.

"Sorry, I have to leave."

The Hong Kong reporters waiting outside immediately took delight in announcing that Cheng Zhizhao's matchmaking date had failed. A haughty heiress like her, they said, would never find a man in the world willing to marry her.

But when she turned around, they saw her get into a bespoke, extended-wheelbase Rolls-Royce Phantom.

Neon lights illuminated the half-open window. A man in a perfectly tailored British suit held Cheng Zhizhao by her snowy white ankle and pulled her onto his lap. His thin lips pressed against hers, then he nibbled the ear he had already kissed warm on her way there.

"Zhizhi, if you're going on a date with him, what am I supposed to do?"

The next day, people dug up the Phantom's three-region license plates. The young heir who had dared to hold a beauty in his arms that night turned out to be Pei Siqiao of Hong Kong Island's Pei family. This noble young master, who had never shown interest in women, had already become addicted to Cheng Zhizhao, breaking his own rules for her again and again in secret.

That year, on Fanli Road, the first time he saw the radiant girl dancing through the world like a butterfly on a spring day, it was already fated that he would spend his life breaking the rules for her.
