Overworked Police Officer, Freelancing Online

Kazama Azusa is a capable police officer. His official superior for now is Senior Furuya, who joined the force a year before him.

Besides his job, he has all sorts of strange identities and side gigs.

For example: the Black Organization's only conscience, a bar's resident singer, an inexperienced bartender, a helpful citizen on a TV station, a street sweeper, a lecturer in meaningless rhetoric, a private tutor, an unexpected great detective, and a hot new bestselling author of popular self-help books...

It's not that he thinks the police don't pay enough, nor is it that he particularly enjoys living dangerously.

It all began with a car accident when he was eighteen.

He was forced to bind himself to a Side-Gig System. If he didn't take side jobs, he'd die. If he did, he'd die of embarrassment.

So, gritting his teeth, he takes on all kinds of bizarre jobs every day to earn points that keep him alive.

He moves constantly between the worlds of black, white, and gray,

using one secret identity after another to conceal his true self.

Why work so hard...? Because dying really hurts!

He's a selfish, self-serving person who will do anything to stay alive.

[Mini Scene 1]

Let's see what I have to do today:

★ A considerate hitman

Day...

With a fake smile, he completes today's task using poison in his target's favorite flavor.

His picky boss, a true believer in the organization: Are you sick?

His great boss, Zero: He's so... I'm actually crying.

[Mini Scene 2]

★ One day, a high school guy sees a flyer on the street: Lecturer in meaningless rhetoric?

Interesting. Let him deal with those old geezers~

"What have you been up to lately?"

"Well, lately I've been doing the things I've been doing."

"Why haven't you written your work report lately?"

"I'll write it when it's time to write it."

"Are you deliberately trying to piss us off?"

"Well... how could you say I'm not?"

Watching the old geezers fume, 5T5 suddenly understood.
