The Qilin clan are divine beasts from birth, but not every divine beast can become a Beast God.

Qi Xiao was a divine beast whom his clan refused to acknowledge. From birth, he was unusually small, had little magic, and lacked talent. In short, he was no good at anything and brought shame on his clan.

The clan members bullied and mocked him. Even his own father couldn't stand the sight of him and wanted to give up on him. Only his mother kept encouraging and loving him.

One night, hoping to make him stronger, his mother sent him secretly down to the mortal realm to train and return strong enough to qualify for the Beast God ceremony.

Poor little guy: he was only three years old, barely three hundred years into his life, and already had to leave his parents and travel far away. But he wasn't sad. Full of anticipation, he went down to the mortal realm carrying his mother's hopes.

Who could have guessed that he would slip?

He ended up in the wrong world. It was a world of magic, with no divine beasts.

On his first day there, everyone treated him just like his clan had. They avoided him, looked down on him, called him an ugly thing that made them sick, and even tried to drive him out of the city.

They didn't know that a Qilin was an ancient divine beast. Even a weak one could protect a home, ward off evil, bring wealth and romance, boost one's career and luck, and more.

The Qilin cub felt wronged: So humans don't like me either. I have to become stronger.

On his journey to becoming strong, he met a kind but unlucky older sister.

An older brother who'd been beaten down after failing at everything.

An older brother who'd lost friends and cried his eyes out.

A noble older sister with no talent who was mocked by others.

A kobold who was bullied and couldn't talk back.

And all kinds of other human creatures.

Later, their bad luck faded and their fortunes soared. Some got rich, some were promoted, some became big shots, some became prodigies, and some found their perfect match...

The people who had insulted him regretted it bitterly.

The Qilin's name became famous throughout the other world, and the power of his followers' faith reached new heights.

When he returned to the divine realm, he wouldn't need any ceremony. He would be the youngest and most powerful Beast God in all the divine realm.

Theme: Those who work hard are always lucky.
