The World Tree Farms in the Post-Apocalyptic World and Saves Humanity

The world of magic teetered on the brink of collapse.

In a final, desperate act, the World Tree’s mother tree sent Vekati, a seedling with only two cotyledons, to the Blue Star, believing it would be safe.

Who could have known that this place was already in its fifth year of the apocalypse?

Animals and plants had all undergone drastic mutations.

Plants ran wild and attacked people, or grew leaves without bearing fruit. Poison covered the land, and crops had all but failed.

Wild beasts grew enormous and ferocious.

Humans awakened supernatural abilities, but their living space was being squeezed away at a terrifying rate, leaving them barely able to survive.

Fresh from transmigrating, Vekati was full of ambition:

This deity will run rampant in another world and dominate it!

Reality, however, dealt her a crushing blow.

A routine watering of the human vegetable patch nearly drowned her on the spot.

To stay alive, the feeble World Tree seedling had to rack her brains to trick the humans and save them.

After finally winning everyone’s trust, Vekati spread her two cotyledons and proclaimed her first grand ambition as a tree:

“Let’s farm together!”

From then on, Changwei Village rose to prominence.

It grew from a tiny village into a paradise everyone in the apocalypse longed for, where people lived in comfort and security, with plenty to eat and wear.

Superpowered fighters and survivors from all over, with nowhere left to turn, traveled thousands of miles to seek refuge there.

When the top fighters from the major bases, renowned for their impressive records, came to pay their respects, Vekati waggled her leaves and asked a question that struck at their very souls:

“Do you know how to farm?”

The fighters fell silent.

“Surely you know how to spread manure?”

The fighters fell silent again.

Vekati surveyed the chickens, ducks, cattle, sheep, plants, and trees diligently working in the fields.

“Look at them. They can all do it. Honestly, you can’t?”

The once-mighty top fighters covered their faces in embarrassment.

“Nobody said we’d have to learn to farm to join you... Is it too late to learn now?”
