Canary: Alternate Timeline

*I have too many what-if storylines I want to write, so I'm giving them their own book.

The Golden Canary's story from The Tragic Romance Protagonist Turns Into a Slacker, expanded with what-if storylines:

Possibilities:

A double-rebirth what-if storyline, where the male lead will probably be even more unhinged than in the main story

A supernatural what-if storyline about a past-life sugar daddy who returns from the dead and continues forcing his love on his little bird, a love story between a ghost and a living person

A post-apocalyptic story: a powerful man raises his wife, a frail little cutie with a special ability and a huge appetite, who thinks she's sneaking around carefully to steal food. He understands everything, but he's a bad man with a heart full of schemes, waiting for his wife to offer him a treat

An ancient-style fantasy story about a great demon king raising a bird

Those are my ideas for now. I'll think of more and add them later. If there's a trope you'd like to see, tell me in the neighboring ongoing story.

A slow-witted, soft, adorable, floppy golden canary who trains dogs x a stalkerish, devoted husband, twisted and perverse, with a strong possessive streak and the body of a muscular CEO

My pants are about to explode, I can't hold back. I'm digging a hole for this story first...

Main story blurb:

In his past life, Su Zhi was a cool, delicate little flower who had gone bankrupt but refused to let poverty crush his spirit. Unfortunately, he caught the eye of a CEO with an overwhelming need for control and became the blackened CEO's prized canary. No matter how hard he fought, he couldn't obtain the freedom he longed for. All he had was money and the CEO's love!

Then the CEO died unexpectedly, and Su Zhi regained his freedom. After half a lifetime of working 996, he finally shed tears of regret.

Su Zhi: "There was once a job offering a monthly salary of one hundred thousand, a year-end bonus of a house, no work, no KPI reviews, all meals and lodging covered, and a devoted, muscular top with eight-pack abs. But I didn't appreciate it..."

Then he was reborn.

Su Zhi: Yes! Time to lie down and slack off! Hubby, food! I'm hungry.jpg
