Green Source Street is a gathering place for B-rank and higher aberrations. There is an S-rank aberration there. It can see through everything, and it can create anything. It is the mother of all aberrations and the source of mutation, but it bears no ill will toward humanity. When humans receive an invitation, they can gain a glimpse of their fate from it. Sometimes they receive an ability, sometimes they are cured of contamination, and if it is pleased or the price is right, they may even receive an aberration of their own.
Green Source Street is both a forbidden zone for humanity and its hope in the fight against aberrations.
Su Li opened a handicraft shop in another world, but it only gets a customer once every six months. Whenever someone comes by, she greets them warmly, doing whatever she can to sell her handmade wares and earn a little money.
Later, someone started coming to the shop once a week. They never bought anything, though. They just came to talk about life and ask for advice. That wasn't really part of her job, but they brought little gifts every time.
Emmm, she could take on the occasional side gig as a mentor. They were paying her so well.
Content warning: A short Cthulhu Mythos-style story. Inspired by the comic I'm Really Not the Evil God's Lackey. I love stories with this kind of setting, but I can't write one, so I'm indulging myself.
