Can Cursing a Curse Make It Work?

"Can cursing a curse actually work?" a young student asked his teacher.

The young teacher smiled. "Of course it can. You can think of a curse as a person. When a vicious person attacks an ordinary person, they're both human, yet one can still hurt the other, whether through words or actions."

The wind drifted by, rustling the leaves and gently stirring the teacher's hair, revealing an ugly scar on his forehead.

A letter floated down from the sky. Its bright red wax seal proved its authenticity. The young teacher caught it and told his student to go do as he pleased. Then he went to the dormitory of another teacher and knocked. When he pushed open the door, he stepped into a different world.

The iron gate was old and dilapidated, and the interior was dim. Four figures stood inside. One had dark skin and held a monkey skull. Another wore a nurse's uniform and gripped a syringe. A young child hugged a doll, while a tall, slender figure clutched an oil-paper umbrella.

"Come on, you're the only one we're waiting for."

"All right." The young teacher smiled and walked step by step into the gloom.

A transparent jellyfish seemed to swim out of his shadow and settle obediently on his shoulder.

This is a story about redemption. No one will die. The character profiles are a scam, and will probably only appear at the end or in an extra.

In this setting, the Oletus Manor is a place of miracles. It promises one miracle and one chance at redemption, in exchange for pawned souls and an endless game.

Every Hunter is Special Grade. They are like cursed spirits, but they are not cursed spirits.

Some Survivors can kill cursed spirits, but most are more inclined toward support.

There is a hierarchy at the manor, currently centered around the original nine.
