Tsurumi Sumi opened a cat cafe in Mihua Town with his cats.
While all the surrounding shops were finding increasingly creative ways to get caught up in murder cases, his cat cafe miraculously remained a peaceful haven, never experiencing a single mishap. So even though Mihua Town was a little more dangerous than other places, Tsurumi Sumi had no intention of leaving.
He thought he could keep living such a laid-back life forever, until a young couple walked into his shop holding hands.
...And then, after a year of peace and quiet, his shop finally welcomed several police cars.
Leading the group was not Inspector Megure, who showed up all the time, but a newly promoted inspector who looked quite young. The name on his badge read "Furuya."
Tsurumi Sumi couldn't stop several cats from crowding around Inspector Furuya and meowing at him. Before he could apologize, the officer's eyes widened in shock, then slowly settled on Tsurumi Sumi.
Tsurumi Sumi immediately sensed that his radar was sending out an alarming signal.
He realized at once that he should keep his distance from this officer.
Inspector Furuya, however, didn't seem to agree. After their first meeting, Furuya invited him to meals, outings, movies, and all kinds of other things with such obvious intentions that Tsurumi Sumi, in his astonishing slowness, eventually guessed that he might be getting pursued...?
Tsurumi Sumi: Hilarious. Not even a ghost would believe that.
One year after the organization fell, Furuya Rei was promoted to inspector. He worked diligently to preserve the hard-won peace and quiet for Mihua's residents.
One day, while he was working as usual, Megure Juzo suddenly called. He was handling a case in the suburbs, but something had come up in the city. Could Furuya go help? Furuya agreed without hesitation.
The crime scene was a cat cafe, a very peaceful cat cafe.
In Mihua, where murders were everywhere and every shop had taken its turn, this cat cafe had been open for over a year without a single incident. Its peaceful streak was nothing short of miraculous.
Before Furuya Rei entered the shop, he thought it was a pretty lucky place, though not lucky enough. After all, its luck had run out today.
But the moment he stepped inside, he realized that this was truly a shop protected by the goddess of fortune. Not only did he meet a dear friend who had somehow come back to life in a strange new way, he also got to experience cutting-edge technology and learned firsthand what advanced artificial intelligence was like.
System: ...I've told you so many times already, I'm not artificial intelligence!!! Could you at least consider another possibility for once? There are four resurrected cats and someone else's girlfriend standing right in front of you!
Furuya Rei shook his head like a sunflower: Impossible. Absolutely impossible. I have to believe in science.
System: ...Your faith in science sure is flexible, huh?
Reader's Guide:
1. This story takes place one year after the organization falls!!!
2. The protagonist did not take part in any Black-versus-Red conflict.
3. This is just a silly little fluff story. I guarantee there will be no angst.
4. I'll try to update daily, but in truth, updates depend on inspiration.
5. Please don't give me writing advice. If you don't like it, please click away. Thanks for understanding (bows.jpg)
Theme: A blaring radar can also be a sign of love
The setting is very good, but Zero's position has been lowered. He was admitted to the career group, graduated with the best grades in the police academy, served as the leader of the zero team, and worked undercover for seven years. If you add in the achievements of destroying the organization, he is more than enough to be a police officer. After all, he is the police department's replacement once he graduates from the professional group.
Are you about to start writing?
Come on come on! Looking forward to the update~~
Come on, update it^3^
Very nice, looking forward to the update~
Ling Ling's position seems a bit low. My wife's writing is great. I look forward to the follow-up.
Good guy, is this really the abandoned cat effect?
